These are my favorites!!!
Hiatus the last 150 days.
I’m back as of August 1, 2025.
Going to take it slow here.
Watched slow living videos like user at YouTube “Poetry of a slow life.”
Many days I turned off technology completely. Unplugged.
Fasting from the addiction to technology to social networking online. Or to people in general.
The odd thing about fasting is helps to see clearer what is valuable and what has substance.
Remember at the end of the book Fahrenheit 451? When they each memorize a book. And they become that loving book.
And yet we are all dust and ashes. Like the Indian sadhus naked or almost naked and covered in ash. Or like repentants during the high holy days, we see that this world passes quickly and we are not like the rocks and magma that may last millions of years. If we last 100 years we think we are so very old. But we pass like flowers.
I remember that is the point of the Burning Man when I first awakened to my own art. That it all fades. But there is something that will remain. Will we have amnesia and lose all memory of this world when we step into the next? Will we be able to look down or look around when we lose this body we have here? It’s a great mystery isn’t it?
Our life is art. Our life is our expression. And we shouldn’t hold onto it too tightly. Like a clutch.
Fly freely. Learn to fly. To swim. To dance. To sing. Just start somewhere. Even if people laugh at us. Even if they mock us. And belittle us. It will all pass. Let them laugh. Let them mock. They are spectators or critics and that says more about them than it speaks about our truth. Mystery of mysteries.
Song of Songs. Come dance with me. Come sing.

Thanks monsbrick. It was exciting to see the Honk travelling booklet come back again. I especially like your "Kindred spirits" collage work and PrincessLeia's fish art. Thanks so much for sending it home to me.
