Hello, crafty friends! I found a (new to me) crafter on YouTube, her channel is called It's Probably Sharon. I've been watching her series on the "Idea Junk Journal" she is making - filling a junk journal with different elements to refer back to. There are so many and I encourage you to watch if you are a junk journaler :) Let's follow her tutorial HERE to make two fabric tags for your partner. You can make any size, as long as it would fit in a junk journal (though these can also be stand-alone tags). A sewing machine is not necessary. Feel free to leave the top of the tag (fabric pieces / ribbon) off the tag to make it easier to mail. Enclose in the envelope and the recipient can tie it on. Also, please send a scrap piece of fabric in case your partner wants to use it as a hinge, as shown in the tutorial. Design is sender's choice so you may make it early if you wish! Thank you, I hope you join! | |
