Comment: Oh my goodness, I loved your week! It sounded like a busy week. Proud of you for decluttering, I need to do that, but would much rather craft or sew, so not much cleaning happening. Good job for not buying everything on Prime days that is a tough feat! Great idea for going to library for craft night, I need to check if we have them here. Would be great to get out and mingle. Comment: I loved your card! I also loved Andy Griffith, I visited his museum in Mt. Airy, NC. Outside the museum is a bronze statue of him and Opie. If you're in the area it's worth a visit. I'd forgotten about China Beach I used to watch that show too. I think my all time favorite show was Star Trek the Next Generation. Data was my hero, because even though he wasn't human he always had great moments of being a human and improving himself. thanks for the great card! Hugs

It does not denote a religious image; in fact, it's the image of a real woman named Magdalena Ventura who started growing facial hair in her late 30s. She was probably mocked and treated like an outcast during her lifetime, but Ribera chose to paint her with much humanity and kindness. Thanks again!

I recently did something similar for my bestfriend - her mom passed away earlier this year - she got a TON of sympathy cards and didn't know what to do with them - she felt guilty throwing them away but didn't want to just keep them all in a box in her basement forever either so I took them all - punched little hexagons out of them and made her a piece of art that she could display in her home - no one would ever know it is made from sympathy cards =)

Comment: Robin! ♡ Thank you so much for the washi samples and the beautiful card. Those watercolour butterflies make me so happy. The tapes are all gorgeous; I can hardly pick a favourite. Your generosity is much appreciated. And I love your name. I love birds in general. A neighbour illegally removed a Robin's nest last year (they didn't want birds on the balcony...), my mom got wind of it and took it in. She tried to create a safe spot on our balcony and the parents eventually found their way to the nest and even learned to trust us a little. All the eggs hatched, all the chicks made it, and for a bit they were all over the balcony, fuzzy round birds with grumpy lil faces. I felt like sharing that. :D Take care!

I've seen profiles that literally say "don't send me any one of these million things or I will go into some kind of PTSD attack, I only like the color purple and butterflies" Great. So much for artistic freedom! This combination of "childish + evil" is what makes things worse than other haunted objects or legends. Also even as a child I was more a fan of stuffed animals instead of dolls and despite I've kept my stuffed animals, there will be no doll ever being invited into my home, especially not one with an haunted history. Comment: Hi Robin, I am sorry to be so late in rating your swap. I'm not being lazy, but have been really sick for the last month. This long illness ended with me in the ER twice and 1 Urgent Care in 5 days. My visit to Urgent Care got me in an ambulance and in the hospital after more evaluation in the ER. They are still unclear about what caused my whole body to tailspin and I could have had seizures or even passed away. This has been scary! So, I want to say Thank You for your generosity and kindness over this last month. Thank You for your caring swap and for a GREAT swap. Happy Swapping until we meet again. I didn't do stamping classes then either, stamping is a new thing to me from just the last couple years. Now I just mostly make giant paper messes to clean up later lol.
